Caroleann S. Gallagher
Caroleann is a native of Ireland and joined our law firm in January 2008. She grew up on a small island off the Northwest coast of County Donegal and from there moved to Galway City where she commenced her college education at the National University of Ireland-Galway. Caroleann initially completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in law and political studies and thereafter completed her Law Degree (LL.B) in 2000. After college, Caroleann successfully completed a three-year period of apprenticeship through the Law Society of Ireland and qualified as a Solicitor in January of 2004. Caroleann practiced in Ireland as a Solicitor from 2004 until 2008 when she moved to Chicago and joined our firm.
While working as an attorney in Ireland, Caroleann concentrated her work primarily in the area of personal injury litigation, but being part of a busy general practice law firm, she also has a wide and varied experience of dealing with many other areas of litigation.
Caroleann was sworn in as an Attorney and admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in May of 2011. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association.
Caroleann is very passionate about her involvement with community-based organizations in the Chicagoland area. Specifically, she serves as a Director on the Board of the Chicago Irish Immigrant Support Group (CIIS). CIIS is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the immigration, social and economic needs of immigrants in Chicago. CIIS is part of an umbrella group of immigrant organizations, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrants and Refugee Rights and a core member of the Coalition of Irish Immigration Centers. Caroleann currently lives on the Northwest side of Chicago with her husband.
